This is about business AND who we are as humans. Through the power of DEI, gender equality, leadership, and communication, my passion and power is to support you to show up and live authentically and not rely on external factors to achieve control over your life (and brand) and to realize and accept your unique perfection. Whether I do so as a lawyer or otherwise.

The result is you get to reduce your stress, increase your self-confidence, allowing you to have a clear message of who you are and what you offer to make sure your voice is heard. If that means you want to making more money or climb the corporate ladder, then so be it. If you want to live happier and more on purpose, then I’ve got you covered here, too.

I’m an extrovert.  I’m also very intuitive and sensitive.  This combination makes me a very interesting lawyer for sure! It makes me an even better healer (“therapeutic” as I’m often called by clients). I have this ability to be “removed” from life’s drama, which allows me to objectively observe and offer a detached viewpoint, much like the sage on the mountaintop! I also have the ability to see the bird’s eye view of life, which allows me to see the bigger picture for clients.

I am also a very serious person, so I am always focused on having more fun and learning to laugh at myself, and my life, more.  I’m starting to wake up to the idea that my connection to who I am, and my divinity, is the only thing that matters in my life and the answer to everything in my life.

I was born in Iran.  My childhood included lots of family and outdoor time.  I remember summers at the ocean and days spent at the park or at my grandparents’ weekend home in the mountains of Tehran.  There was always a certain freedom from being at my grandparents’ weekend home- life had no rules or boundaries and there was an ease and peace to just “being” without any time restrictions on our days and nights.

My world came to a screeching halt when the Iranian revolution occurred in 1979…

My family was literally forced to flee - we took two suitcases thinking we were leaving for two weeks.  We never went back.  What may have been such a painful experience turned out to be the biggest blessing of my life.

Growing up in Indiana as an immigrant had its fair share of painful moments- I didn’t fit in because I looked different.  I also didn’t speak English at first, which made communication harder.  We also didn’t have much money- we literally left behind all our homes and material possessions.  I still remember the first Christmas when my uncle dressed up as Santa and brought me gifts. Joy!  I didn’t know who the old guy in the red suit was, but I sure did appreciate having a toy.

Adapting to change and being resilient became my strong suit and are still my natural talents.  I decided to go to law school to save the world.  But I was really going to law school to prove myself worthy as an immigrant.  Fourteen years into a powerful and successful career as a securities lawyer, I discovered that money and a law degree didn’t help me fit in or give me the self-confidence or freedom I was craving.

I was longing to be heard and seen and self-express somehow…

I paused my legal career two years before the recession in order to find myself.  Everyone thought I was crazy.  So did I.  I was afraid of what I would find and so afraid of being the idiot who threw away a brilliant career (and lots of money).

It took me seven painful years to finally start to unlock the truth of who I am and my brand…

I started to find joy in the notion that I had a purpose and a real gift.  I love my practice area and being a lawyer. My purpose and gift made me happy AND clients were willing to pay good money for my services.  Wow!  I remember vividly the first check I received from a corporate client.  It was $40,000!  I stared at that check for two full days — in disbelief.

“Could this be something we could all experience?  Why did it have to be so painful and hard?  How could I make it easier for others to do the same?” — Katy G

Now I’m blessed to be able to support professionals (like you) to find your voice and self-confidence, excavate and find your own authentic career and power and have lower stress and more money. AND I am still a lawyer and love my practice area!

Some of my clients have achieved great wealth and abundance, building great businesses and careers.  Others have found their self-confidence and their voice, reducing their stress for better peace of mind and health.  These clients have all found clarity and power around who they are and why they matter in this world.  They have all found their power to self-heal and be in control of their lives.

Gender equality achieved via gender equity is always a theme.

I have been the one who has benefitted the most.  I still remember the first email a client ever sent me thanking me for their results.  Tears of joy and disbelief were running down my face as I struggled to read the screen of my Blackberry phone.  I could hardly believe that I was privileged enough to be allowed into their lives to support them. I had finally learned the big secret…

I was making a difference and making money and loving my life.  I want this freedom, joy and personal power for every one of you because you deserve it and you matter.
